In the absence of time

‘What is?’

The whole terminology of reasoning, of intentional action, of knowing,

Is it the terminology of the conflicting, and contradicting time?

How can you find out?

  • Can you justify actions toward anything, without the reason of the past?

  • Can you understand yourself, as you react to all that happens, without any projection of time? Without any reason, goal, justification, complaints?

  • And can they exist without your active maintenance of them? Without your rigid structure of opinions, preferences, ideals?

In that, conflict comes to be. In the very movement of reason, time is born and operates.

The ending of time, the total absence of reason, can it come to be?

We don’t know, do we?

But we do know, if we watch very deeply, that anything that doesn’t exist, that is made of imagination, can only seem to exist, or to stop to exist, within the fabric of such imagination.

Which means, it is unreal.

And that which is now, right now, as you sit and read,

That which takes place now, is it time? Is it the product of intent? Of expectation? Of anything that is known? Is it describable in a timeless way? Objectively?

Or, is it the very absence of all those, outside of time?

Thinking about it, is the movement of time.

Looking at it, by allowing your whole being to be that observation, now,

What does it reveal?

Try, watch, see.
