Life, in its purest essence, is the movement of learning.
Real learning, which is the essence of life, is a state -
of questioning without knowing,
of a look, an observation, into the essence of the question that is being asked, that is being presented in the mind.
And the more that question is observed directly as it is,
without assumption,
without description, interpretation,
Without any need, any wish to know,
The more it is watched directly, the more it reveals its nature,
Which is learning.
Which is not knowing.
Which is life itself.
Not as finite, definite act,
But as a movement, of unfoldment, and endless revelation of that which is not known.
That which is the essence of learning, life itself.
You hear this, you may deny it, or accept it and turn it into knowledge.
But why don’t you ask into that?
Why don’t you question that which you hear?
Why don’t you question the way you hear it?
And why don’t you give yourself totally,
To learning?
To seeing directly,
That which you do not know?
