Deeply rooted in us, by our education, life experience, and constant propaganda, is the fear from mistakes.
And the greater those mistakes can be, the greater this fear is.
To a point that we go through a life time, mastering the avoidance of mistakes.
If you ever want to come upon a flow, of pure originality, you have to understand the implications of such avoidance of mistakes, and why unless you are absolutely free from it, your efforts will take you further away from that which you try to meet within yourself.
When there is a way, a method, a path, a system,
Which is designed, consciously or unconsciously, by the idea that if one knows something, he can perfect it, master it, as in the case of knowledge, skill, or any capacity of the mind,
There can never be a flow that is not old, known, and limited, by that very idea, and the result of the training it nourished.
But,
When there is no prior knowledge, no idea, no system or path that can be trained,
Naturally, there are also no rules, no conformity, and hence, no limitations to the creation flow.
In such space, there can be no mistakes.
For there is no right or wrong.
What is, is.
What is not, is not.
Simply as that.
To meet this space within yourself, is possible only,
When you are free from the known.
The freedom from the known is the most direct result of not knowing. The two are one and the same.
Will you dare, try?
To me, for example, when I play piano without knowing,
When a key is pushed, and make a note that is totally off, out of harmony,
A new unfoldment comes from it. And the originality is expressed by its own flow.
The thing is, that you can not “invite” a mistake,
For at the moment it is brought by will, by idea,
It is not it.
So all you can do is be passionately ready for it, and when it comes,
To rejoice.
Please don’t hesitate to ask questions, and as always -
It’s words until you actually try.
