Is timelessness something real? Is it a concept or an idea? Is it remotely connected to time? Is timelessness a variant or an aspect of time?
And why is it important to ask that? Because it is clear that all suffering has to do with time, without exception.
Whether it is suffering from thinking about something that happened, wanting something to happen, or trying to avoid something, time is always present.
When suffering is present, time is present, and one may question whether the two are one and the same. Perhaps the notion of time within oneself is the notion of suffering within oneself.
So, if one is genuinely committed to freedom, which is freedom from all suffering, bondage, and limitations, then the question of time becomes crucial.
Timelessness is now. It is that simple and that easy.
Now is forever now. It is direct and profound. In the absence of suffering, there is no time. Timelessness, which is now, has nothing to do with time. It cannot be measured, achieved, compared, related to something or someone, kept, or even spoken about.
Timelessness is the complete understanding of suffering, and it can only be understood by seeing its absence.
If there is suffering, there is no understanding of timelessness. Timelessness is the understanding of suffering, specifically recognizing that suffering and time are two words for the same thing.
