The significance of the question of will.
What is the will?
Not what do you want, but the very wanting.
Not what is the proper thing to want, but what is taking place when the will is there.
Is it the guiding force in your life? Do you live by the will?
Is it what making sense out of the sequence of events, the quality of navigation and choices? Is it that?
And whatever it is, is it real? Is the will real, actual?
You feel it, you respond to it with satisfaction or frustration, depends on the alignment with reality.
But is it real in itself or is it elusive, changing by its own accord?
Are you the master of your will?
Is your will — stronger or less, clearer or less, more abstract, more concrete?
Is it part of what you are?
Is it part of your totality of existence?
Can there be life, can there be existence without a will?
Is there the will of existence, which is not your will, which is the absolute will of the now?
The actuality that is either seen or ignored. Is that a will?
And if there is a will of the universe, the totality of it, the absolute nature of it, are you responding to it?
Are you allowing it? Are you fighting it?
The question of will — Probably the key question to truly connect with yourself at a level that is not manipulated by your desire.
And desire is said to represent your will, and the word will is said to represent the absolute will of the now.
