Q:

This maybe insignificant but I'm just curious..

Sometimes one gets lost for few moments like if a person wakes up from sleep he may be lost completely for few minutes and then mind trys to come to usual conscious state. If this getting lost (even for few minutes/seconds) happen in waking hours even in that case also mind trys to come to normal usual active state, even though that trying is natural response of mind (maybe because it wants to feel certain) i feel that rushing to be found involved "deciding, little effort & unnatural activity" though it happens unconsciously. Is it not?

Could you say something about this..

We are lost, even though we feel not

“Lost” in the sense of - we are (Just) where we are (both inwardly and outwardly).

It is the “story” that indicates location/distance/lost/found

It is the “story” that asks what does it mean / what is right

But if one is equally interested in all movements of the mind, without preferences / discriminations, events are just events, experiences are just experiences.

You might want to present yourself the question;

Is there, in your life, now -

A quality that is untouched by any experience?
